Nathaniel’s Toy Shop is here to support families who need assistance in providing gifts for their child(ren) with special needs and their siblings. We kindly ask that you sign up only if you are not receiving toys from another source.
Who is eligible for Nathaniel’s Toy Shop?
VIPs who are official members of our VIP Birthday Club with VIP membership number are age eligible to participate. A VIP membership ID # is required to register each VIP, and becoming a member is easy!
How does my VIP become a member of Nathaniel’s Hope VIP Birthday Club?
You can register your VIP for our Nathaniel’s Hope Birthday Club HERE.
Please know, you will be required to upload proof of disability at the time of registration. The first page of a current IEP/504 Plan, or a Dr’s/Therapist’s letter with the VIP’s full name, birthdate, and disability.
Please allow up to 7 business days (10 calendar days) to receive your VIP’s membership number, due to the immense amount of registrations we receive during this time. You will receive the 1st through email from [email protected]. Please add this to your contacts or check your spam/junk folder.
What ages are supported by Nathaniel’s Toy Shop?
Nathaniel’s Toy Shop serves VIPs and their siblings from birth through age 18. We also provide toys for VIPs over the age of 18 with an IDD, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
When is Nathaniel’s Toy Shop registration open?
Nathaniel’s Toy Shop registration will open the beginning of November and will close Monday morning, December 2, 2024.
For each VIP, you will need their VIP Membership ID number.
If a false VIP membership number is used, your registration will be deleted without notice.
For each VIP and Sibling, you will need to provide one of the following documents that includes the parent/guardian’s name and the child’s name: Birth Certificate, Guardianship documents, or School Record.
How do I register to get toys for my children?
Registration will open up in November. When that time comes you will need the following:
How do I get my VIP Membership ID #?
If your VIP is a registered member of our VIP Birthday Club you should have a membership card with the VIP Membership ID on it.
If you cannot locate your VIP’s Membership ID #, you can submit a form to request that # HERE.
NOTE: Nathaniel recommends to store your Membership ID# in the contacts, the note section, or as a picture on your phone.
What are the requirements for siblings of VIP’s and where do they register?
Siblings must be age 18 and younger. If a sibling over the age of 18 is registered, we will need to remove them from the registration. (Please note: Teen items are limited due to donations received.)
You may only register up to 6 children total, per family.
Birth certificates, Guardianship Papers, or School Records are required for each VIP and sibling that you register. (VIP membership cards are not required to check in.) Documents MUST include the parent/guardian’s name listed in the registration and the child’s name.
Siblings will be registered on the same registration form as the VIP.
Only one registration per family is allowed.
Can I bring my VIP with me to shop in Nathaniel’s Toy Shop?
VIPs and siblings are NOT allowed in the Toy Shop and child care is NOT provided. If you are unable to find care for your VIP or siblings, you will have the option to remain in your car while a personal shopper shops for you based on the information you provided in your registration.
What do I need to bring to the Nathaniel’s toy shop?
You will need to bring a government issued photo ID of the parent/caregiver listed on the registration.
I registered but need to cancel my appointment time, what do I do?
If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment time, please CLICK HERE to cancel your registration.
I registered but need to change my appointment time, what do I do?

At this time, we are not able to reschedule your appointment. If you would like to reschedule, we will cancel out your registration and you will need to reapply and choose another available time slot. Please note, there is no guarantee that another suitable time slot will be available and you will not be able to reverse the cancelation of your original appointment time.
How long can I expect to be at the Nathaniel’s Toy Shop?
We do our best to see you are your scheduled appointment time, but depending on circumstances, wait times (which includes shopping) may be up to 1-2 hours. We take the time to carefully work with each family to find the perfect toys for each child. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and kindly ask that you plan accordingly.
What if I cannot get to Nathaniel’s Toy Shop?
If you are unable to make it to Nathaniel’s Toy Shop, you can request in your registration to have your toys delivered by a caravan. Toy delivery is not guaranteed and will only be provided on a need basis. If you choose toy delivery, you will be contacted by a member of our staff to find out if you qualify.
Toy Delivery is only available to those living in Orange, Seminole, or Osceola Counties.

What if I do not live near Nathaniel’s Toy Shop?
If you are located outside of Orange, Seminole, or Osceola County, there may be a Florida satellite location near you. If you are in the area of one of these locations, you will be able to register for assistance.
