Imagine having a child with special needs (a VIP).
You love your child immensely but the pressures of ongoing caregiving are overwhelming. Medical and therapy bills are piling up along with the laundry, dirty dishes, and a list of household chores a mile long.
You can’t remember the last time you went out with friends to have fun or had a home-cooked meal. You’ve been living off of a diet from the nearest fast-food takeout for as long as you can remember. You’re simply exhausted and there is no end in sight.
What would it mean for someone to be a good neighbor to you?
A home-cooked meal would taste amazing! Having your yard mowed would mean you could spend the day getting much-needed rest instead of sweating in the hot sun. A little help would go a long way.
Nathaniel’s Neighbor encourages individuals, families, and churches to GIVE HELP to VIP families that will result in BRINGING HOPE to their lives.
You can be Nathaniel’s Neighbor by serving a VIP family near you.
- Provide a meal
- Wash a car
- Help with lawn care
- Do laundry
- Vacuum & Mop floors
- Ask how you can bless them most!
Link to Church page / Link to Individual page
What do you think about having buttons with separate pages for these?
Pages could have:
- info about identifying a VIP family near the church/individual
- registration form for ongoing tips/suggestions & for feedback
- churches – how to create a group to wraparound the family
link to FAQ page w/ Accordion if we can’t put it on the bottom of this page.
What if I do not know any VIP families?
Can I do this on my own or do I have to be a part of a church?
