Since 2008, Nathaniel’s Toy Shop has been dedicated to bringing hope and joy to children with special needs (our VIPs) and their families who are facing financial challenges by providing free toys during the holiday season. Made possible through the generosity of Walgreens and other community partners, our pop-up toy shop gives VIP families the opportunity to select gifts for their children, helping create a joyful and memorable Christmas experience.

In 2025, over 600 volunteers came together to support Nathaniel’s Toy Shop, helping collect toys through more than 100 community toy drives. Their dedication, combined with the generosity of our donors and partners, allowed us to serve more than 1,800 VIP families by providing toys to children with special needs and their siblings across Central Florida and 9 satellite locations, including Jacksonville, the Space Coast, Merritt Island, Palm Bay, the Treasure Coast, the Tampa Bay area, Polk County, Lake County, and Seminole/Volusia Counties.

- Collect NEW and UNWRAPPED Toys: Set up a collection point at your business, community organization, church, or school.
- Toy Wish Lists: Looking for ideas on what toys to collect? Check out our Toy Wish List, coming in November! You can also use the list to purchase items directly for Nathaniel’s Toy Shop.
- Amazon Deliveries: Toys purchased through Amazon can be shipped directly to a designated drop-off location. Delivery details will be provided soon.
- Collection Box:
Please provide your own box, which you may decorate with Christmas paper, for collecting toys. Once your toy collection is complete, you can drop off the toys directly at our office.

Host a Virtual Toy Drive:
A virtual toy drive lets you donate toys online, making it easy and convenient. Here’s how it works:
- Create a Wish List: Make a wish list on Amazon with toys for different age groups and needs. We have also provided a list to help guide you. You can use this list for others to order from directly.
- Check out our Toy Wish List, coming in November!
- Share the List: Invite friends, family, and co-workers to buy items from the list by sharing it via email, social media, or text.
- Easy Donations: When someone buys a toy from the list, Amazon can ship it directly to a delivery location, no need for drop-offs. Stay tuned for delivery location.
- Track Progress: You can see how many toys have been bought and what’s still needed.

Here are a few ideas on ways you can help:
Holiday Party Toy Drive: Host a holiday-themed party where admission is a new, unwrapped toy.
Corporate Toy Collection: Partner with your fellow co-workers and set up collection bins in your office. You can also combine it with a fun summer office party.
Community Challenge: Create a friendly competition between local schools, neighborhoods, or sports teams to see who can collect the most toys. Offer a small prize or recognition for the winning group.
Social Media Campaign: Launch a social media campaign encouraging people to donate toys. Share stories, photos, and videos about the impact of their donations and create a hashtag to spread the word.
Local Store Partnerships: Collaborate with local retail stores to set up collection bins. Shoppers can purchase and drop off toys at the store. Or the store owner can have preselected gifts to purchase at a discount and donate at the same time.
