Important Info for MAKE ‘m SMILE Volunteers!
We’re so excited to serve alongside you next Saturday at MAKE ‘m SMILE North Carolina — the BIGGEST party celebrating kids and adults with special needs (VIPs) and their families!
Here’s everything you need to know to be ready to help make this the BEST DAY EVER for our VIPs!

VOLUNTEER PARKING
Please park in one of the designated areas, including Parking 3 and 4. See parking maps located on the Nathaniel’s Hope app.
ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
Volunteer Check-In: 7:15 AM – 7:30 AM. Please allow time to walk from parking to check-in.
Check in at the Pitcher’s Mound
Wear your Smile Team Volunteer T-shirt
You’ll receive a volunteer wristband at check-in – please wear it the entire time.

CLEAN-UP & TEAR-DOWN
The event ends at 2:00 PM, but we’d love your help sticking around for clean-up and tear-down from 2:00 – 3:30 PM.
Even staying for part of this time makes a big difference and helps us wrap up smoothly. Thank you in advance!

Free lunch will be available.
Located on the concourse near home plate.
REMINDERS & TIPS
- Get familiar with key areas and the event schedule in case VIP families have questions
- Wristbands: VIPs and their families will be wearing RED wristbands. Everyone else will be wearing Green wristbands.
- Stay hydrated – bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat
- Need a break or have a question? Ask your Team Lead (David or Dana Hardin)
- Be flexible – you may be moved to a different area to help others or cover breaks
- Most importantly, be kind and helpful—go the extra mile to make the day special!
